Dr. Horvath is a young clinical oncologist with a major interest in microbiota research. Already during Medical School at the Medical University Graz, she focused her scientific activity on clinical microbiota research. With the ambition to continue this interest within and future-orientated scope, she started her clinical career at the Department of Hematology and Oncology at the University Hospital Innsbruck in 2019, where she is currently accomplishing her specialty training as assistant doctor. Since 2020 she is also involved with her Ph.D. study in Clinical Cancer Research at the Medical University Innsbruck, with a specific focus on microbiota research in lung cancer.
